Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Facilities Electrical Technician to support operation, maintenance and upgrades of electrical systems in Fab 10.

You will work with engineers and cross-functional teams to perform preventive maintenance on HV/MV/LV systems, assist commissioning, and drive safety and documentation. The role offers leadership development and opportunities in a high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification.
• 2+ years in electrical maintenance in semiconductor/advanced manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with IEC standards and ETAP; predictive maintenance tools a plus.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Proactive, safety-conscious with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with EHS standards across electrical activities.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on 230kV to Low Voltage systems.
• Support commissioning and startup of new electrical systems.
• Identify and fix electrical problems using structured troubleshooting.
• Conduct risk assessments and FMEA to mitigate failures.
• Maintain documentation of electrical systems and compliance reports.
• Mentor junior technicians and participate in technical training.
• Support deployment of SMART diagnostics tools and digital systems.
• Assist applying AI-enabled working practices where applicable.

We are seeking a seasoned and technically skilledFacilities Electrical Technicianto support the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of electrical systems within Fab 10. This role is vital to ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical infrastructure that powers cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to execute maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict compliance withenvironmental, health, and safety (EHS)standards across all electrical activities.
• Performroutine and preventive maintenanceon electrical systems ranging from230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators, UPS systems, and power quality equipment.
• Supportcommissioning and startupof new electrical systems and infrastructure upgrades.
• Identify and fix electrical problems using structured troubleshooting steps or procedures.
• Conductrisk assessments and FMEAto identify and mitigate potential system failures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, maintenance records, and compliance reports.
• Mentor junior technicians and participate intechnical training programsto elevate team capabilities.
• Support deployment ofSMART diagnostics toolsand digital systems to improve maintenance efficiency and system intelligence.
• Support using AI, AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
• Experience: Minimum2+ yearsin electrical maintenance and operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge ofHV/MV/LV systems, electrical schematics, and safety codes. Familiarity withETAP,IEC standards, andpredictive maintenance toolsis a plus.
• Communication: Effective communicator with strong teamwork and documentation skills.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues independently and collaboratively.
• Mindset: Proactive, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous improvement.
