Job summary

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is seeking a guest-focused Food & Beverage Associate to deliver friendly service and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience. You will handle reservations, answer inquiries, restock, and assist team members to maintain smooth service across all restaurant areas.

A minimum of secondary education with 'O' level passes is required; one year in guest service is preferred. Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education with 'O' Level passes; Diploma in any field is an advantage
• Minimum 1 year in a guest service / guest contact role, preferably in a hospitality organization
• Possess food hygiene and safety certification

Responsibilities

• Handle food and beverage orders and serve guests
• Provide friendly, excellent service to all guests
• Assist fellow Team Members to prepare and set up in restaurants for food service and ensure amenities are stocked and inspected
• Assist guests with requests, upsell, and be well-versed in menu offerings
• Handle restaurant telephone and email reservation enquiries
• Perform cashiering duties when required, operate POS and reconcile cash at end of shift
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and reconcile at end of shift

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling food and beverage orders and serving guests
• Provide friendly, excellent service to all guests
• Assist fellow Team Members to perform preparation and setting up in the restaurants for food service and ensure all available amenities and utensils are properly stocked and inspected prior to service
• Assist guests on their respective requests, conduct suggestive and up-selling, well-versed in all aspects of the menu
• Handling all restaurant telephone and email reservation enquiries
• All other administrative duties in the restaurant
• Perform cashiering duties:
  • Operate POS system when required
  • Handle cash and credit transactions
  • Maintain cash drawer accuracy and reconcile at end of shift

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Minimum Secondary school education with 'O' Level passes; Diploma in any field is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 1 year in a guest service / guest contact role, preferably in a hospitality organization

Other Prerequisites
