Job summary

Symrise Singapore is seeking a Microbiologist to ensure microbiological quality and food safety of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. You will conduct analyses, interpret results, and support release decisions while ensuring ISO 17025 compliance and quality requirements.

Collaborate with QC and cross-functional teams to drive CAPA and investigations. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in a microbiology/f&b lab, strong microbiology knowledge, and experience with lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in F&F or microbiology lab environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of microbiology principles including method development, optimization and validation.
• Hands-on experience with microbiological testing methods and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine microbial analyses of raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods.
• Interpret test results and compare against specifications and control limits.
• Perform risk analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability of results and support CAPA.
• Release microbial test results and support QA in investigations and non-conformances.
• Support method development, optimisation and validation activities.
