Job summary

Citadel Search is seeking an experienced Export Control Senior Manager to lead and manage the export control program for the East Asia & Pacific region within a multinational environment. You will drive regulatory adherence, provide expert guidance on export control and sanctions, and support continuous improvement of related processes.

You will oversee classification projects, advise management, and lead training sessions while coordinating with government authorities and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in export control and sanctions regulations across East Asia, Pacific, and international markets.
• Willingness to travel 30% internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop the global export control program and oversee export control classification projects across East Asia & Pacific to ensure compliance.
• Advise management on export control and sanctions compliance, including licensing and technology control plans.
• Monitor and evaluate developments in export control and sanctions regulations across East Asia & Pacific and report changes to management.
• Be the point of contact for all export control matters to government agencies and authorities.
• Perform compliance reviews, audits, and investigations; develop findings reports and lead corrective action plans with site management and SPOCs.
• Lead and support cross-departmental projects related to export compliance and assist with internal and external audit activities.
• Deliver regular training sessions to employees at all levels regarding export control policies, legal requirements, and procedural compliance.
• Represent the organization at conferences and stay abreast of export control and sanctions activities.
• Participate in special projects such as mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, and classification reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop the global export control program and oversee export control classification projects across the East Asia & Pacific region, ensuring compliance to export control and sanctions regulations.
• Advise management on export control and sanctions compliance, including licensing, agreements, technology control plans, including sensitive goods.
• Monitor and evaluate developments in export control and sanctions regulations across the East Asia & Pacific region and report any changes to management.
• Be the point of contact for all export control related matters to government agencies and authorities.
• Perform compliance reviews, audits, and investigations; develop findings reports and lead corrective action plans in collaboration with site management and local export control Single Points of Contact (SPOC) to enhance export control adherence.
• Lead and support cross-departmental projects related to export compliance and assist with internal and external audit activities.
• Deliver regular training sessions to employees at all levels regarding export control policies, legal requirements, and procedural compliance.
• Ambassador the organisation in conferences and keep abreast of all export control and sanctions activities.
• Participate in special projects such as mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, and classification reviews as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in export control and sanctions regulations across East Asia, Pacific, and international markets, covering licensing, reporting, classification, and export program management.
• Willingness to travel30% internationally as needed.
• Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills.
