Job summary

Plaud Inc. is seeking an experienced Talent Research Lead who will partner with executives to map competitive markets and build leadership pipelines across AI, hardware, and software.

You will craft hyper-personalized outreach strategies and generate market intelligence to guide executive hiring decisions. Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of talent research or executive sourcing experience in tech or agencies.
• Proven track record mapping markets and identifying C-suite, VP, and Director-level talent across AI, SaaS, hardware, or consumer electronics.
• Deep research domain knowledge with LinkedIn Recruiter, OSINT, and modern AI sourcing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leadership.

What you will do

• Partner directly with Executive Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Founders to map competitive target markets and build deep talent pipelines for leadership positions across AI, hardware, software, and commercial functions.
• Utilize advanced research methodologies—including Boolean search, AI-powered sourcing platforms, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and industry mapping to identify passive VP, Director, and C-level candidate talent pools.
• Craft and execute hyper-personalized candidate outreach strategies that articulate Plaud’s value proposition and convert top-tier prospective executive leaders into active opportunities.
• Generate data-driven market intelligence reports, compensation benchmarks, and competitor talent map insights to guide executive search strategies and executive decision-making.
• Maintain pipeline health and database integrity across ATS/CRM systems, tracking relationship progress and nurturing long-term leadership talent networks for future strategic growth

Skills, qualifications and experience we look for

• 3–5+ years of dedicated talent research, executive sourcing, or candidate generation experience within an executive search firm, agency, or fast-growing technology company.
• Proven track record of successfully mapping markets and identifying C-suite, VP, and Director-level talent across AI, SaaS, Consumer Electronics, or Hardware sectors.
• Deep research domain knowledge with tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized talent databases, OSINT techniques, and modern AI sourcing platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage senior leadership candidates and present strategic talent insights to executives.
