Singapore Public Service is seeking a dynamic professional to join a team at the forefront of shaping the future of construction through Lean methods, process re-engineering and technology innovation.

You will examine current processes with a Lean lens, identify inefficiencies, and explore robotics and automation solutions. You will integrate selected technologies into structured frameworks and engage industry stakeholders to secure buy-in for adoption and implementation.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience on construction projects as a design consultant or main contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related Built Environment discipline.
• Resourceful and collaborative with an adaptable mindset and the confidence to navigate uncharted territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine current construction processes and methods through a Lean lens to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, including through value stream mapping and waste reduction principles.
• Scan for and evaluate suitable technologies - including robotics and automation - that can drive productivity and support Lean construction outcomes.
• Integrate proposed Lean and technology solutions into structured frameworks to facilitate industry-wide adoption.
• Engage with relevant industry stakeholders to build interest and garner buy-in for the adoption and implementation of proposed solutions.

What we are looking for

Requirements

• At least three years of experience on construction projects as a design consultant or main contractor, with exposure to Lean construction practices preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related Built Environment discipline.
• Resourceful and collaborative, with a positive and adaptable mindset and the confidence to navigate uncharted territory.
