Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Application Developer to join the Global Execution Services algo team. You will deliver new features, enhancements and bug fixes to our algo trading platform and participate in full project lifecycles across technical analysis, design, data analysis and testing.

You will liaise with business and development teams on priorities, provide level 2/3 support for front-office apps as needed, and ensure adherence to architecture strategies and development standards across

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
Minimum 6 years in designing/developing algorithmic trading systems for equity markets, with hands-on experience in Java and execution space (e.g., execution algorithms, SOR).
Proven track record working with market data feeds, OMS, and FIX protocol.
Experience in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and enterprise messaging solutions.
Experience with control and governance frameworks (e.g., trade surveillance, audit trails, risk checks).
Familiarity with networks, TCP/IP, and low-latency optimization techniques.
Ability to exhibit high level of professionalism in team oriented environment.
Team player that is able to work with people across different departments, countries and regions.
Experience with CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities

Delivery of new features, enhancements and bug fixes to our algo trading platform.
Participate in the full project life cycle including technical analysis, design, data analysis and mapping, development and testing.
Occasionally provide level 2 and 3 support for front-office applications
Ensure adherence to functional architecture strategy and compliance to company development standards.
Liaise with the business and development teams with regards to priorities and progress of various tasks and projects.
If necessary, help manage projects for the implementation of new systems or system upgrades.
