You will supervise a team, oversee the kitchen P&L, implement food cost controls, and conduct regular hygiene checks while actively participating in hiring and staff development to foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the 1st-in-charge and ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Responsible for kitchen P&L and implement food cost controls
• Oversee daily kitchen operations to serve dishes per company standards
• Supervise and guide the team to foster a positive work environment
• Conduct pre-op and regular kitchen checks
• Control labour via manpower scheduling and monitor staff leave
• Involve in hiring for kitchen positions
• Involved in staff counselling and propose disciplinary actions to management
• Ensure kitchen equipment functions and arrange repairs
• Maintain sanitary kitchen environment
• Ensure HACCP and 5S compliance
