Job summary

NTU’s Nanyang Executive Centre (NEC) on the main campus invites an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead and enhance cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management or related). Diploma holders with extensive experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping management within a hotel.
• Experience with accommodation/hotel pre-opening is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
• Manage the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure that all rooms and public spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Accountable for departmental budgeting and P&L.
• Monitor the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment and make recommendations for purchases.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations and standards.
• Work with other departments to ensure the overall guest experience is positive and consistent.
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring process of new housekeeping staff.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline

Diploma holders with extensive experience

Minimum 3-5 years of housekeeping management experience

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of safety and health regulations and standards
