Job summary

Mizuho Bank, Ltd. Seoul Branch seeks a senior leader to head the Global Transaction Banking Desk in Seoul. You will drive delivery of Trade Finance, Transaction FX, Cash Management and Current Account solutions to local and regional clients, coordinating with RM, IT vendors, banks and legal counsel.

This role requires extensive Transaction Banking experience, strong leadership, and ability to develop strategy, manage portfolios, and ensure timely deal closures while aligning with APAC standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Transaction Banking experience in an international bank.
• Strong Trade Finance product knowledge and cash management experience.
• Proven ability to structure and execute bespoke Transaction Banking solutions.
• Experience coordinating with legal counsel on facility documents.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of credit processes and financial statement interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead GTBD Seoul desk and deliver Transaction Banking objectives.
• Originate and structure opportunities; collaborate with multiple teams.
• Develop Korea Transaction Banking strategy aligned with APAC priorities.
• Own execution roadmap and mid-term business plan.
• Manage client portfolios and drive end-to-end delivery of solutions.
• Coordinate with product partners and regional GTBD for alignment.
