Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks a Head of AFC Sanctions within Group Compliance, AML/CFT, Sanctions Policy, Advisory & Training. The role leads sanctions policy development, oversight of sanctions compliance, and advises senior management on strategy and risk.

You will train front to back office teams, liaise with regulators and international counterparts, and ensure audit-ready documentation. Requires strong leadership, 12+ years in sanctions, and a proven ability to deliver under

Responsibilities

Oversee development and management of sanctions policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with Singapore, US, EU, UK sanctions.
Serve as the senior escalation point/decision maker on sanctions escalations across the Bank.
Liaise with Business and Group Compliance on sanctions advisory matters.
Implement sanctions policies and procedures, training and risk assessment.
Maintain audit-ready records for sanctions advisory and respond to regulatory inquiries.
Lead reviews of transactions and relationships to ensure conformity with sanctions laws and Bank policies.
