Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is seeking a senior leader to own the integration architecture and delivery across the payments landscape. You will lead a globally distributed team of specialists and drive the target-state architecture, governance, and modernization initiatives.

You will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, partnering with IT, operations, business units, and vendors to ensure alignment, risk management, and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 12–18+ years of experience in integration architecture and engineering leadership within enterprise environments.
• Strong track record leading distributed teams on large, complex delivery programs.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and governance.

Responsibilities

• Build and mentor a globally distributed team of integration specialists and system analysts.
• Define target-state integration architecture and governance across API, event-driven, file-based, and hybrid approaches.
• Oversee end-to-end integration delivery with emphasis on quality, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Drive modernization of legacy integrations to reduce complexity and increase scalability.
