Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced credit risk professional to oversee a portfolio of Financial Institutions within the FIG coverage. You will review credit requests, approve ratings, monitor risk and ensure policy compliance while coordinating with FIG RMs, CRMs and other stakeholders such as Legal and Risk Policy.

The role requires 10–15 years banking experience, including 8–10 years in Financial Institutions credit risk approval, with strong communication, ownership and cross-team

Qualifications

• Banking experience of at least 10-15 years, with 8-10 years in Financial Institution credit risk approval.
• Demonstrated track record in managing Financial Institutions credit risk.
• Solution oriented team player with strong credit risk management knowledge and skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with multiple business partners.
• Strong sense of ownership of results.
• Work closely with FIG RMs and CRMs, RMG Credit Risk units e.g. Credit Control, Risk Policy and other stakeholders e.g. GFM, Legal etc.

Responsibilities

• Review, respond, support / approve credit requests submitted by FIG.
• Support / approve counterparty risk ratings and ensure consistency of ratings across RMG-FI Risk Management (FIRM) portfolio.
• Assess, structure and manage the risk of complex transactions with FIG.
• Monitor portfolio risk profiles, concentrations, and developments; report risk trends to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable credit policies and processes.
• Deliver quality and timely credit decisions based on sound judgement and risk drivers.
• Participate or manage credit risk / FIRM projects to establish risk infrastructure.
