Key Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate a multi-million dollar annual global budget (in excess of S$30M / €20M equivalent), ensuring meticulous financial governance, risk management, and long-term institutional sustainability.
  • Drive large-scale international fundraising and institutional business development, securing high-value philanthropic partnerships and grants globally to anchor regional operations.
  • Global Policy, Corporate Diplomacy & Advocacy Spearhead regional and global strategies to accelerate the transition to zero-emission mobility, zero-carbon shipping, and sustainable aviation fuel mandates.
  • Engage in high-level corporate diplomacy, advising multinational boards (e.g., global automotive and logistics councils) to align industry targets with global decarbonization paths.
  • Lead advocacy efforts for pioneering environmental regulations, including carbon pricing frameworks for maritime transit, aviation contrail mitigation, and sustainable biofuel standards.
  • External Representation & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary high-level external representative and media spokesperson within the APAC and global clean energy and transport landscape.
  • Build robust alliances with state actors, regional regulatory bodies (such as the IMO and ASEAN committees), and global think tanks to foster collaborative legislative progress.
Job Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 12-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global environmental policy, clean energy transition, or international non-profit management.
  • Track Record: Proven success as an Executive Director or C-suite equivalent, with a demonstrated history of scaling teams from double-digit units to large, multi-office global operations (over 100+ staff across international hubs).
  • Policy Impact: A documented portfolio of securing historic, structural legislative changes in transport, carbon pricing, or commodity phase-outs on an international scale.
