Job summary

Guide Dogs Singapore Ltd (GDS) is a social service agency formed in 2006, dedicated to empowering the blind and vision-impaired community through programmes in guide dogs, mobility training, independent living skills, technology access, and advocacy.

Job Summary

Lead Guide Dogs Singapore as Executive Director to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, fundraising, partnerships, and advocacy, advancing inclusion and independence for people with visual impairments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive organisational growth and ensure long-term sustainability
  • Lead fundraising initiatives, engage donors, and cultivate corporate partnerships to secure financial support
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with government agencies, community organisations, and key stakeholders to advance organisational goals
  • Oversee programme delivery to ensure high-quality services and positive outcomes for beneficiaries
  • Manage financial performance, governance, and compliance to uphold organisational integrity and accountability
  • Inspire, develop, and lead a team of staff and volunteers to achieve mission objectives effectively
  • Advocate for accessibility, inclusion, and awareness for people with visual impairments in the community
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Proven senior leadership experience in nonprofit, social service, healthcare, education, or related sectors
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development
  • Strong business acumen with financial management expertise
