Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance & Admin team on a permanent, executive-level basis. You will contribute to accurate financial operations across multiple entities, handling AR, AP, GL, compliance, tax, audit, and reporting.

The role requires a degree in Accountancy, at least five years of accounting experience, and strong Excel and Info-Tech Accounting Software skills.

Qualifications

Degree in Accountancy.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Info-Tech Accounting Software.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Compute and submit company tax, GST filings, and support corporate tax submissions.
Monitor daily bank balances and cash flow.
Handle full spectrum of AP, AR, and GL functions, including intercompany billing.
Perform quarterly closings, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support internal/external audits and assist with year-end financial reporting.
Verify staff claims, manage petty cash, and process vendor payments.
Contribute to financial planning, stocktake, system updates, and ad-hoc tasks.
