Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our Execution Services team. This critical role will primarily support the trading desk, manage new client on-boarding, work with vendors and internal teams, troubleshoot desk-related issues, and drive resolutions. In addition, the role will contribute to establishing a horizontal trade floor support team, ensuring consistent and high-quality service across the company's businesses.
Responsibilities
Trading Desk Support
- Act as the first point of contact for the trading desk, providing day-to-day operational and technical support.
- Troubleshoot real-time trading issues and coordinate with internal technology and operations teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor and elevate trade breaks, execution anomalies, or client-impacting issues.
Client Onboarding & Maintenance
- Lead new client onboarding for the Prime Services business, including account setup, trade flow testing, and system readiness checks.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and KYC/AML teams to ensure smooth onboarding and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and monitor client-specific trading requirements.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors supporting trading systems, connectivity, and related infrastructure.
- Coordinate issue escalation and resolution with vendors to minimize disruption to trading.
- Review vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
Issue Resolution & Incident Management
- Investigate and resolve trade-related issues in collaboration with trading, technology, and operations teams.
- Document recurring issues and work with stakeholders to drive process improvements and prevent recurrence.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide timely updates and solutions.
Trade Floor Support (Horizontal Build-Out)
- Contribute to the design and establishment of a horizontal trade floor support team covering multiple trading desks.
- Help define standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistent support across business lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform resilience and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or related field with at least 12-14 years of experience in financial services industry.
- Prior experience in execution services, trading support, or prime brokerage preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading workflows, and Prime Services business.
- Experience in vendor management and onboarding of new clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with traders, clients, vendors, and support teams.
- Technical aptitude (e.g., order management systems, FIX protocol, trade capture tools) a plus.
- Ability to adapt and contribute to building new support structures and processes.
