Job summary

MORGAN MCKINLEY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Execution Engineer to support engineering execution of Power Generation projects throughout the project lifecycle, onsite in Singapore.

You will prepare drawings and technical submittals, develop technical documentation and test scripts, verify BoP scope, coordinate with suppliers, and attend customer meetings to drive progress and quality. The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, 5+ years in the diesel/gas

Qualifications

• University or college qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with diesel genset installation, site supervision and commissioning.
• Hands-on regional engineering project management experience.
• Knowledge of electrical power systems and genset control systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering execution of Power Generation projects from order through IST.
• Prepare and submit technical drawings, documentation, and submittals to customers.
• Develop technical documentation and test scripts for genset enclosures and FAT/FWT activities.
• Verify Balance of Plant scope aligns with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to maintain delivery schedules and technical scope.
• Attend customer meetings to resolve engineering issues and ensure progress and satisfaction.
• Support closure of FAT punch-lists to ensure project completion and quality.
• Provide site engineering support at supplier, packager and customer sites as required.
• Update engineering drawings to reflect project changes or improvements.
• Record lessons learned to improve future projects.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Execution Engineer to support engineering execution of Power Generation projects throughout the project lifecycle, from order execution through Integrated Systems Test (IST) support, based onsite in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering execution of Power Generation projects from order execution through Integrated Systems Test (IST) to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Prepare and submit technical drawings, documentation, and technical submittals to customers to meet project requirements
• Develop technical documentation and test scripts for genset enclosures, supporting Factory Witness Test (FWT) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) activities
• Verify that Balance of Plant scope complies with agreed customer requirements to ensure project alignment
• Coordinate with suppliers to maintain delivery schedules aligned with the agreed technical scope and project timelines
• Attend customer meetings and resolve outstanding engineering issues to maintain project progress and customer satisfaction
• Support closure of punch-list items arising from FAT to ensure project completion and quality standards
• Manage coordination with suppliers for drawings, data sheets, quotations, and technical information to support project execution
• Provide engineering support at supplier, packager, and customer sites as required to facilitate smooth project delivery
• Implement amendments to engineering drawings as needed to reflect project changes or improvements
• Record and maintain lessons learned from project execution to improve future project performance and processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• University or college qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience within the diesel/gas engine, genset, or Power Generation industry
• Hands-on experience in regional engineering project management to oversee project execution effectively
• Experience with diesel genset installation, site supervision, and commissioning to ensure operational readiness
• Knowledge of electrical power systems and genset control systems to support technical decision-making
• Knowledge of engineering calculations related to gensets and electrical power systems to validate designs
• Knowledge of switchgear and electrical power protection would be advantageous to enhance system reliability
• AutoCAD proficiency would be advantageous for preparing and amending technical drawings
• Good understanding of Asian cultures and business practices to facilitate effective stakeholder engagement
• Strong English communication and customer-facing skills to ensure clear and professional interactions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve project goals
• Willingness to travel primarily within the APAC region to support project sites and customer needs
