Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Wafer Sort (EWS) Process Engineer to optimise processes, tools and systems to achieve best-in-class quality and productivity in EWS operations.

You will monitor process performance, analyse electrical test data and visual defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to boost yield and efficiency across manufacturing, with strong cross-functional teamwork and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI required.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment and microscopy is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DOE, 8D, FMEA, programming or data processing tools preferred.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.

About the Role

As an Electrical Wafer Sort (EWS) Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising process, tools, and systems to achieve best-in-class product quality and productivity in EWS operations. You will monitor process performance, analyse electrical test data and visual defects, identify root causes of process deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve yield, quality, and productivity.

• Work closely with relevant teams to support continuous improvement activities and operational stability.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or a related science/engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment and knowledge of optical microscope usage would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with DOE, 8D methodology, FMEA, programming, or data processing tools is preferred.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and across departments.
