Job summary

QAI Ventures AG’s Singapore office is seeking a recent graduate for a hands-on associate internship spanning events, marketing, and communications. You will work with the Singapore team to drive events, shape brand narratives, and support portfolio ventures in market presence.

QAI Ventures AG is a Swiss-headquartered global venture capital firm and ecosystem platform investing in Quantum Tech and Enabling Technologies across the advanced computing value chain. Operating at pre-seed through Series C, QAI uniquely combines a VC fund, accelerator programs (Switzerland, Singapore, Canada), and a corporate innovation offering.

Our Singapore office is a hub for the APAC region, running accelerator cohorts, building early-stage ventures, and engaging the region's deep tech ecosystem. This internship sits at the center of those activities.

The Role

This is a hands‑on, high-impact associate role on contract basis for a recent graduate who wants to gain real experience at the intersection of deep tech, startup programs, and strategic communications. You will work directly with the QAI Ventures Singapore team to drive events, marketing, and communications for QAI as a firm and the early‑stage ventures we build and support.

You will contribute meaningfully from day one: producing content, coordinating events, shaping brand narratives, and helping portfolio ventures establish their market presence. This role carries genuine responsibility and offers direct exposure to founders, investors, and the regional deep tech ecosystem.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

EVENTS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

• Plan, coordinate, and execute QAI Ventures Singapore events, including accelerator showcases, investor briefings, ecosystem meetups, and participation in regional conferences.
• Manage end‑to‑end event logistics: venue sourcing, speaker coordination, guest communications, on‑site delivery, cost tracking, vendor negotiations, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Support QAI's presence at APAC deep tech and innovation events, including preparation of materials and briefings for the team.
• Build and maintain relationships with event partners, venues, and co‑organizers across the Singapore and APAC ecosystem.

MARKETING & BRAND

• Support the implementation of QAI's marketing strategy for Singapore and the APAC region, in coordination with the Global CMO based in Europe, to ensure consistent QAI branding and communications.
• Manage and grow QAI Singapore's social media presence (primarily LinkedIn), including content planning, drafting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
• Maintain and update the QAI Singapore website and local marketing materials to ensure alignment with global brand standards.
• Coordinate with local agencies and freelancers on design, content, and campaign execution.
• Contribute to building marketing infrastructure for portfolio ventures: website content logic, messaging frameworks, and brand foundations.
• Help develop positioning and value propositions for early‑stage deep tech ventures, translating complex quantum and AI technologies into clear, compelling narratives for customers, partners, and investors.
• Create and adapt central marketing and communication materials for ventures and for QAI Singapore.
• Track and report on marketing KPIs, generating qualified applications for programs and pipeline for partnerships.

COMMUNICATIONS & CONTENT

• Draft and edit external communications including newsletters, program announcements, and ecosystem updates.
• Support the development of pitch narratives and investor storylines for portfolio ventures.
• Produce compelling content that communicates QAI's investment thesis and portfolio activity across written, digital, and event formats.
• Ensure consistent tone, messaging, and brand voice across all QAI Singapore communications.
• Assist in generating qualified applications for QAI's accelerator programs through targeted outreach and content campaigns.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

REQUIRED

• Recent graduate (BA, MA, MBA, or PhD) in marketing, communications, business, technology management, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; you write clearly, precisely, and without clutter.
• Ability to translate complex or technical subject matter into accessible, compelling narratives for different audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in events coordination, content creation, or marketing, through internships, student projects, or independent work.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Proactive, execution‑oriented mindset, comfortable taking ownership and delivering without constant direction.
• Based in Singapore.

ADVANTAGEOUS

• Familiarity with deep tech, quantum technologies, AI, or advanced computing is not required; intellectual curiosity in these areas is essential.
• Experience with social media management tools, CMS platforms, or marketing analytics.
• Exposure to the Asian startup or innovation ecosystem.
• Experience working in or with early‑stage startups, accelerators, or venture capital environments.
• Graphic design or multimedia content skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe, video editing).
