Job summary

Tanamera Coffee is seeking an Events Barista to deliver exceptional specialty coffee experiences at corporate and private events. You will prepare espresso-based beverages, maintain quality, and represent the brand with warmth and professionalism.

The role requires mobility to travel to event locations, flexibility to work weekends and holidays, and strict hygiene standards. You will collaborate with the events team, manage equipment, and oversee setup, service, and demobilisation with care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista in a specialty coffee environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction and milk texturing.
• Familiarity with grinder calibration.
• Ability to explain menu offerings and origins to customers.
• Ability to work in fast-paced event environments.
• Maintain high hygiene standards.
• Willing to travel to event locations and work weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks.
• Ensure consistency in extraction, milk texture, taste, temperature, and presentation.

Job Summary

Tanamera Coffee is hiring Events Baristas to deliver exceptional specialty coffee experiences at corporate and private events.

Key Responsibilities

Specialty Coffee Preparation

• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks.
• Ensure consistency in extraction, milk texturing, taste, temperature, and presentation.

Brand Representation & Customer Experience

• Deliver warm, engaging, and professional customer interactions.
• Confidently explain menu offerings and coffee origins.
• Handle feedback and service recovery calmly and effectively.

Event Setup & Equipment Handling

• Independently set up, calibrate, operate, troubleshoot, and dismantle coffee equipment for off-site events & ensure equipment is properly maintained and handled with care.

Operational Excellence

• Manage workflow efficiently during peak periods.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supplies for each event, maintain high standards of cleanliness in compliance with SFA regulations and company SOPs.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with event team members to ensure smooth setup, service execution, and demobilisation. Support team members proactively during busy service periods.

Physical & Mobility Requirements

• Must be mobile & comfortable travelling to event locations.
• Able to carry, handle coffee equipment & event materials when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, & basic grinder calibration.
• Passion for specialty coffee & continuous learning.
• Able to perform well in fast-paced, high-pressure event environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong hygiene awareness.
• Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, & varying event schedules.
