Role Description

The Event Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for leading the end-to-end planning and execution of events for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role includes developing event concepts that align with brand stories, creating project timelines and budgets, and coordinating logistics such as venues, vendors, technical setups, and on-site operations.

The Event Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, manage client communication and expectations, and ensure every event delivers a seamless and memorable experience. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing proposals and presentations, overseeing production schedules, conducting site visits, managing event staff, and handling post-event reporting and debriefs.

The role also requires monitoring industry trends, maintaining quality standards, and continuously improving event processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture effective client relationships, ensuring that client needs are consistently met with timely and appropriate responses.
• Clear Communication: Communicate clearly with clients regarding roles, responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules, and project status.
• Project Management: Manage project budgets, schedules, and status updates to ensure the successful execution of events.
• Event Operations: Oversee end-to-end event operations, including venue sourcing, securing third-party costs, and on-site event management.
• Proposal Development: Guide the development, writing, and presentation of project proposals, schedules, and plans to meet client expectations.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with creative and production teams to maintain the integrity and quality of work.
• Business Development: Support the agency’s growth by contributing to new business acquisition efforts.

Qualifications

• Event planning and production skills, including experience in conceptualizing, organizing, and executing corporate and luxury events.
• Strong project management capabilities, such as timeline management, budgeting, resource coordination, and vendor oversight.
• Client-facing and communication skills, including the ability to present ideas, manage expectations, and build long‑term relationships.
• Team leadership and collaboration skills, with experience guiding cross‑functional teams and managing on‑site event staff.
• Operational and problem‑solving skills, including risk assessment, contingency planning, and quick decision‑making during live events.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English; proficiency in additional languages common in Singapore is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required by event schedules.
• Relevant experience in events, marketing, or brand experience; a diploma or degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with event management software, basic budgeting tools, and presentation platforms (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) is beneficial.
