You will drive safely, maintain the vehicle, and ensure cargo safety. You will handle loading/unloading, route planning, and coordinate with dispatch and event staff to deliver services on time. The role also involves setting up buffet stations, arranging food and beverages, ensuring food safety, and adapting to ad-hoc duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle safely, comply with traffic laws, and ensure passenger and cargo safety.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, including oil and fluid checks and tyre maintenance.
• Transport goods securely, including loading, unloading, and cargo protection.
• Plan routes by considering traffic and weather to reach destinations safely and efficiently.
• Maintain mileage, fuel, and maintenance records and report to the supervisor when needed.
• Ensure safety equipment is present and functioning, such as fire extinguishers and first aid kits.
• Comply with traffic laws, vehicle documents, and company policies; keep licenses current.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, event organisers, and team members.
• Take action in emergencies, contact services, report accidents, and safeguard safety.
• Safely transport catering equipment from storage to event venues.
• Set up buffet stations with tables and equipment in an organized, presentable manner.
• Coordinate with catering staff to arrange food and beverages and label dishes.
• Maintain food safety and keep perishable items at proper temperatures.
• Ensure buffet presentation is attractive and easy for guests to access.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and provide extra support as needed.
