Job summary

MOTORWAY GROUP is seeking a skilled EV vehicle technician in Singapore to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric vehicles, diagnose faults, and service high-voltage systems. You will conduct PDI, ensure safety procedures, and document service activities with OEM tools and CAN/bus analysis.

A proactive attitude and readiness to learn are essential for success. Qualifications include a Certificate in Automotive Technology or equivalent, with EV safety certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Automotive Technology or equivalent is required.
• EV or High-Voltage Safety Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric commercial and passenger vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic system faults.
• Maintain key vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and cooling systems.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and vehicle commissioning.
• Service and diagnose high-voltage EV systems including batteries, inverters, converters, and drivetrains.
• Carry out safe high-voltage isolation and follow LOTO safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot charging systems and regenerative braking issues.
• Use OEM diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults.
• Interpret CAN bus data and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Perform ECU diagnostics and software/firmware updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and EV handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
