Job summary

Vantage Automotive Limited, a Sime Motors Singapore partner, seeks a skilled Technician to support workshop operations and uphold the highest standards in vehicle servicing and maintenance.

You will assist with technical, safety, and administrative tasks, perform repairs per manufacturer guidelines, diagnose electrical systems including high‑voltage components, and keep clear records of work and parts used.

Qualifications

• NTC 2 or Nitec in automotive field or GCE O’ Level with relevant certifications.
• 3+ years experience in automotive industry; EV service experience desirable.
• Hands-on diagnostics, maintenance and repair with diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Support daily workshop operations and uphold service standards.
• Assist foreman in technical, safety, and administrative tasks to meet franchise standards.
• Interpret, implement, and enforce safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
• Perform service and repair work per manufacturer guidelines using factory tools and manuals.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including high‑voltage components.
• Prepare concise reports on completed repair jobs and update foreman on status.
