Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) – NEVC invites a Deputy/Assistant Manager, EV Regulations (Licensing) to join the team driving regulatory policies and licensing for EV charging operators in Singapore.

You will oversee licensing regimes, ensure EVCA compliance, analyse data, coordinate with stakeholders, and explore tech tools to streamline processes while maintaining safety and accessibility of EV charging.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in regulatory policies and framework.
• Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for details.
• Experience in regulatory policy or operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products.
• Comfortable with analysing datasets and tracking key indicators to provide robust analysis and recommendations for decision making
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs, and recommend effective and efficient use of regulatory resources
• Able to work collaboratively in a cross functional team, and with various stakeholders such as companies and other government agencies
• Interest and basic knowledge in electrical systems and electric vehicle charging systems will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regulatory policies and framework for EV charging.
• Review and administer licensing regime for EV charging operators.
• Ensure compliance with EVCA regulations and licensing conditions.
• Analyse datasets and track indicators to support decision making.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to introduce technology to streamline processes.
