Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore, via the National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC), seeks a Deputy/Assistant Manager, EV Regulations (Licensing) to help regulate and deploy EV charging systems.

You will develop and implement regulatory policies to ensure safety, reliability, and accessibility of EV charging, review licensing for charging operators under the EVCA, and drive compliance while exploring AI tools to streamline processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory policies and frameworks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives.
• Strong writing and presentation skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in regulatory policy or operations, licensing, or use of restricted products.
• Comfortable analyzing datasets and tracking indicators for robust recommendations.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs and optimise regulatory resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regulatory policies and framework for EV charging safety, reliability and accessibility.
• Review and administer the licensing regime for EV charging operators under EVCA.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and conditions of licensing by industry stakeholders.
• Analyse datasets and indicators to support decision-making and policy adjustments.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and with government agencies and industry partners.
• Explore and introduce technology (e.g., AI) to streamline processes and improve productivity.
