Job summary
Power Automation Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Technician to manage preventive maintenance for EV charging stations across multiple sites. You will ensure reliability, update firmware, and coordinate with facility managers to address faults quickly.
The role requires Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering and LEW Grade 7 certification, plus a valid Class 3/3A license. Experience with EV charger systems is preferred, with safety and compliance as top priorities.
Qualifications
- Higher Nitec qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- LEW Grade 7 (Licensed Electrician) certification.
- Valid Class 3/3A driver's license.
- Certification as an Electric Vehicle Charger Equipment Specialist is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on EV chargers across multiple sites in Singapore to ensure operational reliability
- Complete and submit relevant maintenance forms accurately and timely
- Update firmware and software on charging stations to maintain optimal functionality
- Identify and report faults found during preventive maintenance to enable prompt resolution
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards to maintain safe operations
- Inspect electrical connections, charging cables, and related components for wear and tear to prevent failures
- Communicate effectively with owners, facility managers, and customer engineers or technical officers from the Tech Ops team to coordinate maintenance activities
- Maintain detailed service logs and provide comprehensive reports to management for record-keeping and analysis
