Position Title:Estate Technician

Job Summary:
The Estate Technician is responsible for maintaining the Company's buildings, facilities, equipment and premises to ensure a safe, functional and well-maintained environment. The role involves carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and coordinating with term contractors and service providers as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of buildings, facilities and equipment
- Attend to maintenance requests and rectify defects promptly
- Carry out general building maintenance
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, sanitary, air-conditioning, painting and carpentry works
- Troubleshoot and rectify maintenance issues or escalate major defects to the Estate & Safety Manager
- Coordinate and follow up with term contractors and service providers for scheduled servicing, repair and statutory maintenance works as and when required
- Verify completed works and ensure maintenance is carried out in accordance with company standards and safety requirements
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance defects and potential safety hazards
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports and service documentation
- Ensure all maintenance works comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures
- Use tools and equipment safely and maintain good housekeeping of work areas
- Report unsafe conditions and follow up with corrective actions
- Support emergency maintenance and after-office-hours breakdowns when operationally required
- Support estate improvement projects and perform other duties assigned by the Estate & Safety Manager.
Job Requirements:
- N level / Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant technical experience in building maintenance
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, carpentry and painting works
- Able to use common hand and power tools safely
- Reasonable communication with good interpersonal and proactive with positive mindset
- Responsible, hands-on and able to troubleshoot and work independently
- Physically fit to perform maintenance duties
- Willing to work beyond normal office hours when operational needs require
- Other Ad-hoc assigned by manager.
