JIA INVESTMENT ALLIANCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an equity research analyst to support senior analysts in researching global listed companies and developing investment recommendations for the portfolio management team and internal clients.

The role requires strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with excellent written and verbal communication. We welcome generalist analysts who can build sector expertise through rigorous research, plus CFA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field; CFA preferred.
• 3-5 years of fundamental equity research experience, preferably buy-side.
• Strong financial modelling and understanding of valuation.

Responsibilities

• Screen stock ideas, conduct due diligence and bottom-up analysis to develop investment recommendations.
• Engage with management, competitors, suppliers, and customers where possible.
• Prepare financial models and written investment recommendations.
• Monitor portfolio companies and market conditions for investment implications.
• Communicate with CIO, Portfolio Managers and clients through reports and presentations.
• Assist portfolio managers with equity portfolio management.
• Exercise independent analytical judgment with a high degree of autonomy.
