Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an Equity Analyst to join its Singapore-based investment team. The role is ideal for candidates with investing experience looking to advance within a high-performance hedge fund environment.

You will conduct in-depth research and due diligence on listed companies, build robust financial models and valuation frameworks, and generate long and short ideas through bottom-up analysis. Prior buy-side exposure and CFA progress are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in hedge funds, asset management or related industries.
• Strong fundamental equity research, financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation abilities.

Requirements

• At least 3-8 years of relevant experience within hedge funds, asset management firms, or related industries.
• Strong fundamental equity research, financial modelling, and valuation skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• CFA qualification or progress towards the designation is advantageous.

Preferred Background

• Prior buy-side experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience covering sectors such as Technology, Consumer, Financials, Industrials, Healthcare, or Internet is highly desirable.
• Exposure to long/short investing or hedge fund investment processes would be advantageous.
