Funds Partnership Asia is seeking an Investment Analyst for their Singapore office, ideal for an early-career professional. You will work closely with senior investment professionals, gaining experience in deal sourcing and evaluation while focusing on financial modelling and portfolio analysis.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Growth Equity, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Corporate Finance.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Additional Southeast Asian language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models: DCF, LBO, trading and transaction comparables.
• Conduct industry and competitor research; analyze business models and financial performance.
• Assist with due diligence across various domains and coordinate with advisors.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations, articulating investment rationale and risks.
• Support portfolio monitoring and performance analysis.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career investment professional looking to accelerate their development within a private equity environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals across deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and investment committee preparation.

The role is highly analytical and execution‑focused, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy financial modelling, problem‑solving, and evaluating businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Modelling

• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including:
  • DCF valuations
  • LBO models
  • Trading comparables
  • Transaction comparables
  • Scenario and sensitivity analyses
• Support investment underwriting and valuation exercises.

Investment Research & Evaluation

• Conduct industry, market, competitor, and company research.
• Analyse business models, growth drivers, financial performance, and key risks.
• Support the development of investment theses and recommendations.

Due Diligence & Transaction Execution

• Assist with financial, commercial, legal, tax, and operational due diligence.
• Coordinate with external advisors and transaction stakeholders.
• Support transaction execution through signing and closing.

Investment Committee Materials

• Prepare investment memos, investment committee papers, presentations, and supporting analysis.
• Clearly articulate investment rationale, valuation, risks, and recommendations.

Portfolio Monitoring

• Support portfolio company monitoring and performance analysis.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and value creation initiatives.

Requirements
