Job summary

Micron Singapore is seeking an Equipment/Production Engineer for Fab10 tasked with planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits to boost equipment performance and uptime.

You will oversee maintenance, study equipment reliability, write preventive maintenance schedules, and collaborate with process owners and vendors to drive continuous improvement, AI-enabled efficiency, and adherence to Micron standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours (e.g. compressed, 12-hour night shifts).
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator across all levels.
• Interest in semiconductor industry and Micron preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and implement new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits.
• Own and develop equipment maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Collaborate with process owners to manage projects and reduce defects.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams.
• Write and publish reports on equipment availability improvements and cost reduction.
