Job summary

Seagate Technology in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of production and testing equipment. You will perform maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, and on-the-job training to ensure equipment reliability.

The role requires a Diploma in related Engineering fields, a proactive attitude, and willingness to work in a clean room environment with a 12-hour night shift (7.30pm–7.45am).

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or related.
• Self-motivated and positive attitude.
• Team player with good problem-solving skill.
• Willing to work in clean room environment.
• Willing to work on 12hr (7.30pm to 7.45am) night shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production and test equipment to meet company standards and minimize downtime.
• Establish and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures to ensure equipment reliability.
• Administer training programs for proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Conduct head changes for Burnish, Glide, and Cert heads.
• Troubleshoot testers down to the board level.
• Maintain testers and automation systems, including pick-and-place robots.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor machine yield and performance through real-time systems and take corrective actions as needed.
