Job summary

TALENT SEARCH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our West region manufacturing facility. You will lead maintenance of all production and facilities equipment, implement PM/CM plans, and drive safety culture.

You will mentor a team, manage contractors, perform root cause analysis, track asset history, control budgets, and report to senior management. Strong Lean, TPM or Six Sigma background required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 4 years in managing a team.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, TPM or Six Sigma concepts.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment for production and facilities at optimal levels.
• Plan, schedule and oversee daily preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Lead and mentor maintenance staff and contractors.
• Investigate equipment failure and implement corrective actions.
• Track work orders and asset history; manage documentation.
• Ensure safety, environmental standards, risk management and policy compliance.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory and labor costs.
• Coordinate with procurement on service contracts and vendor performance.
• Prepare reports for senior management.

Job description

MNC with manufacturing in the Westregion

• Operations maintenance of all equipment for production and facilities are maintained at optimal level
• Plan, schedule and oversee daily equipment PM (preventive & predictive), CM activities without disrupting production
• Implement continuous improvement programs and promote safety work culture
• Lead and mentor a group of maintenance staff including contractors
• Investigate equipment failure and recommend corrective action plans
• Track work order and asset history through systems
• Prompt response to equipment breakdown and minimize downtime
• Conduct root cause analysis, MTBF and MTTR and implement CAPA on failures
• Ensure safety, environment standards, risk management and company policies compliance
• Responsible for maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory level and labour costs
• Manage external vendor and conductors on work performance and safety compliance
• Negotiate service agreement and contracts with procurement team
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Prepare reports for senior management

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related fields
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing environment and 4 years in managing ateam.
• Implementation knowledge of lean manufacturing, total productive maintenance or six sigma concept
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Understanding of PLCs, automation, and control systems (preferred)
