Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking an Equipment Engineer for GMP manufacturing in Singapore. The role focuses on setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting production machinery, and ensuring safe, efficient operations in a busy facility.

You will lead CAPA investigations, preventive maintenance, and equipment qualifications in line with GMP and PIC/S standards, and provide training to technicians while collaborating with production teams on upgrades and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot and maintain production machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Investigate equipment breakdowns, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programmes with Engineering and Production teams.
• Analyse maintenance data and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and vendors on servicing, spare parts and equipment upgrades.
• Monitor critical spare parts inventory to minimise production downtime.
• Support equipment setup during packaging size and material changeovers.
• Lead equipment qualification, validation and performance testing in accordance with GMP and PIC/S requirements.
• Investigate manufacturing deviations and equipment-related non-conformities and drive timely resolution.
• Maintain engineering documentation, including maintenance records, work instructions and technical drawings.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Support engineering projects involving new equipment installation, process improvements and production enhancements.
