Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking an Engineer for equipment maintenance to support wafer fab operations. The role focuses on maintaining equipment readiness, performing PMs, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements to minimize downtime and maximize yields.

You will analyze technical charts, drive improvement projects, and ensure safety and proper custody of tools and assets while collaborating across teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of equipment engineering experience, preferably wafer fab/electronics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to perform Normal / Swing Shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support equipment readiness as an individual contributor or manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Execute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade equipment to minimize downtime.
• Analyze and monitor technical charts.
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects.
• Ensure and follow safety practices and custody of tools, equipment, and other properties.
• Perform all activities safely and support EH&S requirements.
• Collaborate on projects and assignments as needed.
