Job summary

NTI Nanofilm in Singapore seeks an Equipment Engineer to drive full lifecycle management of production equipment, including usage planning, preventive maintenance, performance monitoring and upgrades. The role partners with Production and Quality to safeguard capacity, product quality and on-time delivery.

The candidate will plan equipment usage, develop maintenance plans, monitor performance, and lead improvements in efficiency, safety and cost.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant engineering field.
3–5 years of manufacturing or equipment engineering experience is preferred.
Experience in vacuum coating, PVD, semiconductor, precision engineering, or surface treatment industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate machine/equipment usage to meet production and delivery needs.
Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for reliability.
Monitor equipment performance and analyze data to identify efficiency gaps.
Plan equipment upgrading, modification and replacement to support capacity and tech needs.
Troubleshoot breakdowns, lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Manage equipment installation, commissioning and qualification for new or upgraded machines.
Maintain maintenance records, SOPs and spare parts inventory.
Ensure equipment meets safety, quality and compliance standards.
Drive continuous improvement in equipment efficiency, cost and safety.
