Job summary

WuXi Biologics is seeking an expert to lead site Fire & Security management, with responsibility for operating fire detection, protection, access control and CCTV systems. The role also oversees security guard operations and emergency response planning to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations at the site.

The candidate will report directly to the Head of EHS, work closely with the EHS team, and ensure alignment with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• WSHO and FSM, with other relevant EHS certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Fire & Security (pharma/chemical industries preferred).
• Proficient in local regulatory requirements and best industry practice.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Fire & Security management systems and SOPs based on policy and local rules.
• Develop and implement Emergency Response plan per SCDF and regulators.
• Train Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Operate and maintain fire detection, fire protection, and life-support systems.
• Operate and maintain access control and CCTV systems.
• Manage security guard operations.
• Any other tasks assigned.

Job description

Act as subject matter expert for site Fire & Security management systems. The role includes operating the fire detection and fire protection systems, access control & CCTV systems and managing security guard operations.

Scope also includes the development and implementation of emergency response plan. This role will be reporting directly to Head of EHS

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Fire & Security management system, programs and SOPs based on corporate EHS policy & standards, and local regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement Emergency Response plan in accordance with the statutory requirements from SCDF and other regulatory authorities.
• Train Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Operate and maintain fire detection and fire protection systems, fire command center, and other life support systems.
• Operate and maintain access control & CCTV systems.
• Manage security guard operations.
• Any other tasks assigned.

Requirement :

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• WSHO and FSM, preferably with other relevant EHS certifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Fire & Security (preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industries).
