Job summary

Quek & Quek Civil Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified Environmental Health Specialist to implement and monitor environmental management systems on-site in Singapore. You will oversee vector control, Earth Control Measures (ECM), and QECP-aligned works while ensuring PUB and regulatory compliance.

You will inspect facilities, coordinate remedial actions with the Project Manager, and organize campaigns and training to raise environmental health standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Certified ECO, ECMO certification required.
• 3-5 years on-site environmental health experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor environmental management systems, including vector control and ECM.
• Ensure compliance with all occupational health and environmental regulations.
• Identify, recommend, and implement measures to prevent recurrence of environmental health issues.
• Supervise and maintain ECM in accordance with QECP designs and PUB requirements.
• Conduct inspections to ensure ECM facilities and equipment are functioning and safe.
• Ensure all site facilities and sanitary provisions are properly maintained to prevent health risks.
• Attend to feedback on environmental health irregularities and coordinate remedial actions with the Project Manager.
• Measure, monitor, and review WSH performance; present findings at WSH Committee meetings.
• Organize campaigns, training, and awareness programmes to promote high environmental health standards.
• Perform other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or management.
