Job summary

AECOM Singapore is seeking a motivated environmental professional to contribute to site assessment projects. You will join a multi-disciplinary team, conduct field sampling (soil, water, air), and support client deliverables with technical reports and illustrated figures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Planning or related fields.
• Fresh graduates or early professionals with environmental project experience including site assessment and EH&S auditing.
• Candidates with strong experience may be considered for senior-level appointment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate field activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Work on environmental site assessment projects individually or in teams with client requirements, regulations and international standards.
• Perform field sampling of soil, water, and air; site visits; supervise subcontractors for soil and groundwater investigations.
• Write technical reports presenting findings, analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare figures, illustrations, and presentation slides as part of deliverables.
• Support environmental audits, due diligence reviews, and health and safety compliance.
• Assist in project and proposal management and administrative duties.
• Adhere to quality, environmental management systems, and health and safety policies.
• Report any quality, EHS problems or improvement suggestions to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work in environmental site assessment related projects, whether as individual or team, in accordance with client requirements, local regulations and international standards.
• Perform field sampling of environmental media (e.g., soil, water, air), site visit and inspections, supervise and coordinate with subcontractors as required for the soil and groundwater investigation projects handled.
• Write technical reports to present the environmental site assessment findings, analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare figures, illustrations, presentation slides, as part of the deliverables.
• Where required, support environmental audits, due diligence reviews, conduct job safety risk assessment, health and safety compliance audits.
• Support team manager in project and proposal management as well as administrative duties.
• Carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/ her immediate superior.
• Perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time.
