Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated M&E Project Coordinator to oversee construction activities at various islandwide sites in Singapore. You will manage schedules, coordinate with consultants, and ensure project progress meets quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years in M&E project management or coordination. Familiarity with local codes and safety regulations is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in M&E project management or coordination.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee M&E construction activities, site progress and schedules.
• Review drawings, specs, and coordinate with consultants.
• Liaise with clients, PMs, architects, consultants, contractors.
• Supervise site staff and subcontractors per project requirements.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment per specs.
• Prepare construction plans, site access, hoisting and temp utilities.
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections and pre-handover docs.
• Attend project meetings and report progress and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Scope

• Manage and oversee M&E construction activities, site progress and project schedules.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications and requirements, and coordinate with consultants to resolve discrepancies and technical issues.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, architects, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Supervise site staff, workers and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out according to project requirements.
• Manage materials, tools and equipment, ensuring approved materials and specifications are complied with.
• Prepare and maintain project construction plans, site access, hoisting and temporary utilities plans.
• Conduct and coordinate QA/QC inspections, testing and pre-handover inspections, including relevant documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on project progress, quality and technical matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

• Diploma /Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years in M&E project management or coordination will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations will be an added advantage
