Job summary

Salesforce AI Research Labs is seeking entrepreneurial Research Scientists to build and scale the next generation of Enterprise AI. You will operate like a founder within Salesforce, spotting high-impact directions, prototyping capabilities, and validating ideas with customers to turn strong concepts into production-ready solutions.

You will have freedom to propose new ideas, access Salesforce’s global ecosystem, and quickly validate innovations with external and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML or related field.
• Publication record in top AI venues.
• Experience with C/C++, Python and deep learning libraries.
• Ability to implement and deliver results at large scale.
• Proven track record translating research into production systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and pursue ambitious, long-term research goals.
• Develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.
• Lead teams to deliver on complex research projects.
• Identify directions with potential to transform Enterprise AI.
• Turn ideas into zero-to-one AI product prototypes.
• Work with customers to validate needs and refine direction.
• Build robust models, agents, and AI systems for enterprise use.
• Partner with product, engineering, and GTM to bring solutions to market.
