Qualifications

• Degree in Entomology, Biological Sciences, or Environmental Science is required.
• Knowledge of biology and behaviour of structural pests.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good communication in English and Mandarin for liaising with associates.
• Strong documentation skills, well organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with different teams to ensure pest management programs with relevant documentation.
• Handle client inquiries on pest identification and prepare pest reports.
• Troubleshoot unresolved pest issues and propose solution plans.
• Develop and conduct all company training programs including pest control technical training.
• Provide sales support duties as needed.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and support audits.
• Perform quality checks to ensure service levels meet requirements.
• Maintain inspection guidelines and reporting procedures for clients and staff.
• Stay updated on relevant legislation, compliance, and innovations; maintain company licensing.

Job description

The Entomologist / QA role requires to manage different clients from various industries, extensive detailed reporting and has strong knowledge and experiences in relevant legislation & compliance in pest management.

Customer Management & Training:

• Responsible to work closely with different teams within the company to ensure sites have proper pest management program with relevant documentations.
• Handle clients' enquiries with regards to the difficult pest identification or preparation of pest identification reports.
• Troubleshooting for unresolved pest issues and come up with a solution plan.
• Conduct and develop all company training programs including pest control related technical training.
• Other sales support duties.

Quality Checks & Reporting:

• Responsible for monthly/ quarterly/ yearly reporting and also ensuring clients pass audits (internally and externally).
• Quality checks & assurance at customer site to ensure the pest management service level are maintained.
• Establish inspection guidelines and reporting procedures for clients and staffs.
• Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance and innovations.
• Maintain and manage all company compliance and licensing.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a Degree in Entomology /Biological Sciences/ Environmental Science.
• Has good knowledge of biology and behaviour of structural pest.
• Proficient in MS office application (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Possess good communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates).
• Good documentation skills, well organized and detailed oriented.
• Be resourceful, proactive and has a very high level of initiative.
