Job summary

INDUSTRIAL & COMMERCIAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Pest Control Technician to service client premises in Singapore. You will inspect sites, identify infestations, and apply pesticides safely following regulatory requirements, while maintaining reports and client education.

Responsibilities include operating fogging and misting equipment, installing traps, and ensuring compliance with WSH standards. Ongoing training and emergency support are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pest control services at clients' premises per procedures and regulations.
• Inspect sites to identify infestations and recommend treatments.
• Apply pesticides and other approved chemicals safely with correct dosage.
• Handle, store, transport and dispose of chemicals per safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain pest control equipment (fogging, misting, sprayers, oiling machines).
• Install and monitor bait stations, traps, and related devices.
• Prepare service reports and record inspections, treatments and recommendations.
• Educate clients on preventive pest management to reduce future problems.
• Ensure work complies with WSH requirements, SOPs and NEA regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, PPE and service vehicles.
• Attend trainings to stay updated on techniques and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to emergency pest control requests when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out pest control services at clients' premises in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.


• Conduct site inspections to identify pest infestations, assess the severity of the issue, and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.


• Apply pesticides, insecticides, rodenticides, and other approved chemicals safely and effectively, ensuring the correct type and dosage are used for different pest infestations.


• Handle, store, transport, and dispose of pest control chemicals in compliance with workplace safety regulations and environmental requirements.


• Operate and maintain pest control equipment, including fogging machines, misting machines, ULV sprayers, oiling machines, baiting equipment, and other treatment tools.


• Install, inspect, replenish, and monitor pest control devices such as bait stations, insect light traps, glue boards, and rodent traps.


• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments performed, chemicals used, and recommendations provided to clients.


• Educate clients on preventive pest management practices and provide recommendations to minimise future infestations.


• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, company SOPs, and relevant NEA regulations.


• Maintain company tools, equipment, PPE, and service vehicles in good working condition.


• Attend scheduled training sessions to keep updated on pest control techniques, chemical handling, and regulatory requirements.


• Respond promptly to emergency pest control service requests when required.


• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum "N level" passed in English


• Ability to handle and apply pest control chemicals safely and responsibly


• Physically fit to work indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions


• Good communication and customer service skills


• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team


• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, public holidays or after office hours when operationally required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant experience in pest control services


• Possession of NEA Vector Control Technician License


• Experience operating pest control equipment such as fogging machines, misting machines, sprayers, and oiling machines


• Possession of relevant pest control certifications or licenses


• Valid Class 3 driving license (if required for operational duties)
