in Singapore seeks a Senior Oracle Database Migration Engineer to lead enterprise-scale Oracle transformation initiatives with minimal downtime. You will design migration strategies for Oracle RAC and standalone environments, install and manage RAC, Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and Clusterware, and guide cross-functional teams through production cutovers and post-migration support.

Qualifications

10+ years of Oracle Database Administration and Architecture experience.
10+ years designing and operating Oracle RAC environments.
Extensive experience leading enterprise database migration programs.
Proven experience architecting highly available Oracle platforms supporting business-critical workloads.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and execution of Oracle database migration projects with minimal downtime.
Design migration strategies for complex Oracle RAC and standalone environments.
Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and Clusterware.
Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery using Data Guard.
Execute migration methods: physical, logical, cross-platform, and cloud migrations.
Configure and maintain RMAN backup and recovery.
Monitor performance and optimize Oracle environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout migrations.
Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical guidance.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
