Job summary

TAK System Integration Pte Ltd is seeking a network engineer or someone eager to break into this specialized field in Singapore. You will learn to implement enterprise-grade firewalls, security solutions, and core networking technologies to deliver comprehensive client network solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or advanced diploma in CS/IT or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Cisco or Juniper networking certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of network security concepts is advantageous.
• Some experience in network implementation is preferred.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to work independently.
• Ability to lift and carry at least a 1U network appliance.
• Able to start immediately or within a month.
• Only Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
• Plan and implement network solutions using best practices.
• Secure network systems by enforcing policies and access controls.
• Plan and perform firmware upgrades on network equipment.
• Configure and integrate Next-Generation Firewall, Layer 2/3 switches, and Enterprise WiFi.
• Complete post-project network documentation.
• Pass and maintain relevant certifications as required by the company.
