Job summary

Cloudwise is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to understand enterprise requirements and contribute to solution and system architecture designs. You will work directly with customer teams, resolve design and production issues, and deliver robust Java applications and services.

You will leverage AI coding and productivity tools to accelerate development, analysis, troubleshooting, and delivery, while communicating clearly with business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, databases, and common middleware.
• Practical experience in system architecture and solution design.
• Strong problem-solving and independent delivery capabilities.
• Good customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in using AI coding and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to understand enterprise customer requirements and participate in solution and system architecture design.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during system design, integration, deployment, and production operation.
• Communicate directly with customers’ business and technical teams to explain solution designs and technical approaches.
• Provide clear, efficient, and professional technical communication during troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications and services.
• Use AI tools to improve development, analysis, troubleshooting, and delivery efficiency.
