Job summary

Seatrium Limited seeks a senior data leader to design and implement an enterprise data platform, govern data assets, and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders. The role focuses on data architecture, governance, metadata, lineage, and security across ingestion, storage, and analytics layers.

The candidate should drive scalable data integration, support AI/ML data readiness, and work with ERP/industrial data sources while coordinating governance activities and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, data platform development, or similar enterprise data roles.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data protection roles.
• Strong knowledge of data cataloging, metadata, lineage, classification, and data quality.
• Experience with ERP, operational, industrial, or engineering data sources is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI/ML data foundations and reproducible data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design data architecture and enterprise data platform across ingestion, storage, transformation, serving and consumption layers.
• Drive data governance outcomes and align stakeholders around policies and data standards.
• Lead DGC meetings, coordinate governance activities, and support audits.
• Collaborate with business units to define business metadata, data elements, and domain structures.
• Develop scalable data integration patterns across enterprise applications and analytics environments.
• Partner with AI engineers to ensure data readiness for AI/ML use cases.
• Provide insights to business units through advanced analytics and visualization.
