Job summary

Temasek, a global investment company based in Singapore, invites an Enterprise Architect to engage business stakeholders and technology leadership to provide independent architecture review, governance, and decision assurance across enterprise initiatives.

This role demands strategic architecture thinking, rigorous review of solution designs, and clear executive‑ready summaries of decisions, risks, and trade‑offs, with collaboration across cybersecurity, data, and operations to ensure standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Typically 8-12+ years of technology experience in enterprise architecture or governance.
• Strong understanding of TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, and security domains.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and communicate enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, patterns, and roadmaps.
• Assess whether proposed technology designs align with business strategy and target-state architecture.
• Review and guide target-state architecture and transition roadmaps for modernization and resilience.
• Lead architecture governance through design reviews, quality gates, and architecture decision records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify capability gaps, risks, and governance exceptions.
• Provide architecture guidance to solution and domain architects, engineering teams, and application teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and SaaS/cloud services for enterprise fit and value.
• Ensure architecture decisions support security, privacy, interoperability, and compliance.
